I was actually looking forward to this discussion because I wanted to share my favorite restaurant with my learning team The place I like to eat out the most at is called Rainbow Café and Pancake house. Their web site is www.rainbow restaurants.com and its location is 233 North York Road 60126 Phone # 630-833-0556. It is a family and casual restaurant about a mile from where I use to live. I now travel a little further but the food and ambiance is so good, it is worth traveling a little further. They are always busy, but they have two large parking lots on either side so parking is not a problem. Their website advertises meals under $10.00, which usually means their specials. Their food is home cooking so usually that means foods like stuffed peppers, meatloaf, Greek chicken (owners are Greek) but I would not consider the restaurant to be ethnic. They have the usual steaks and chops. My favorite thing to order every time I am there for breakfast is Rib-eye steak and eggs which include hash browns, fruit, and toast or pancakes. I usually get pancakes. for $13.95. I usually eat half and take the other half home. The portions are huge, and all the wait staff and busboys are helpful and friendly. I have recommended them to others and they also go back time after time. They are rated by YELP and other people have given them from 4 to 5 stars. Remarks like Food might not always be the healthiest, but who cares it's delicious and many comment about how large the portions are. I also recommend r home made soups.

I love the family restaurants to were all the food is home cooked. I know unless you have worked there, it is hard to tell about the back of the house and what goes on in there. I know the restaurant that I love to eat at is all home cooked meals and reasonable priced. They service a full menu all day and I like that variety to choose from. There are lots of nights that my husband and I like to breakfast and this is where we can get it. This place has the kitchen right in the front of the house were we can see the serving window and chef and it looks so clean. I am picky about where I eat and if it's not clean I will not eat in there. They have great food and the service is wonderful as well. How is the cleanliness of the restaurant you like to eat at and how is the manager? The manager at Henderson's that we eat at is always on the floor helping and making sure that everyone is taken care of.

I thought I had put enough detail in my description. There is always a manager on duty who goes around asking how your service and food is. The hostess in front is also a owner so when you go up to pay she asks how everything is. Yes. they also serve breakfast all day. The kitchen has a large window where people who sit at the counter can watch as they cook. The cleanliness is above average because they care about everything they do there.

I think that my favorite restaurant that my husband and I eat at is Henderson's Family Restaurant. I know besides this one location there is another one in a different location/town which would make this a chain restaurant. I enjoy eating there because it's casual dining and the atmosphere is so welcoming. We usually eat there once a week maybe twice. When we walk in, we are greeted with a smile and just a welcoming attitude. The food is home cooked and the whole menu is served all day from breakfast to dinner and the whole place is very well kept cleaned. We have always had great service and treated good. The manager is always out in the front of the house working right along with the other employees making sure that everything is going smoothly and that all the guests are happy. He walks around and ask each table how their service is as well as their food. To me that shows that he cares about this business and their success. I feel they strive to succeed and make people want to come back. This restaurant would classify as casual dining and the things that I think that makes this business successful is the way that management manages it, the service that people receive and as well as the food that is prepared and served.
