Three research methods are identified and at least one strength and weakness associated with each method is clearly delineated. In addition, information is taken from the source with enough interpretation/evaluation to develop a comprehensive analysis or synthesis. Furthermore, viewpoints of experts are questioned thoroughly.
You should identify three different studies that were used in the article and describe them as either Naturalistic Observation, Correlational Studies, Experimental Studies, Clinical Case Studies, or Surveys. Then, after discussing the details of the study you should identify the strengths and weaknesses of that particular type of study (this information is in your book under "Comparison of Psychological Research Methods"). Finally, you must evaluate the overall article in terms of the studies to develop a comprehensive synthesis and question the viewpoints of the experts. In essence, how could the studies be improved to make the conclusions drawn by the article more scientifically credible or valid.
