Visual Program Presentation For Stakeholder Assignment Instructions
Overview
For this assignment, you will choose a direction to focus your presentation on and then create apresentation video that presents your chosen material. Imagine your program is ready to go or has even been piloted, and now you have the opportunity to disseminate information about your program to various stakeholders.
Instructions
Step 1. Develop a Summary Page
Before you begin, decide on the following to give context and scope to preface the direction of your presentation. Be sure to include a 250-word (1-page) summary of your direction on the following:
1. Which stakeholders will be your audience? It could be those funding your program, those who might want to create a similar program, your supervisors and colleagues, interested members of the larger community, or those who are the actual participants in the program.
2. You can also determine whether your presentation would be before launch, or perhaps after a small pilot has been completed, or even fully implemented. In this case, your goal is to provide a quick look at who you are and what your team is doing.
Step 2. Create a Video or Visual Presentation
You will be required to create a 15-20 slide video presentation. Your video presentation should be visually appealing, academically sound, and should be narrated by your voice.
The presentation must include information about: your segment population; the leading health indicator that you are addressing with current data; the program overview – mission statement, goals, objectives, and interventions; resources; link to a behavior change theory; proposed benefits to the participants and the community; and a list of ways the stakeholder can be involved.
Remember that all works cited must be included on a reference slide at the end of the presentation.
You may use Adobe Spark, a narrated PowerPoint, Prezi, or any video or presentation format you choose. If you use YouTube, make sure the video is published and set to public so that it can be viewed.
You will take the presentation and the 1-page summary and submit them together.
