Resource List Assignment Instructions
Overview
The scriptures teach us that we went start a project that we need to ‘count the cost’ - so that we know we have the resources to finish it. In this assignment, the learner will create a list of resources needed to complete the project.
Instructions
Based on the strategies you created for your intervention, identify and list the resources you would need to carry out the intervention you described. The Resource List must literally be a list, rather than a narrative (other than introductory sentences, as needed for various types of resources). Include personnel, curricula/instructional resources, space, equipment and supplies, and financial resources.
For example, if you created a Spring Safety event, some of the resources you might need include:
• A team of at least 10 volunteers to facilitate the event
• A sound system and microphone
• Print materials that contain information about cycling safety
• Tables to hold the materials
• Video equipment and a screen to show the safety video
• Small safety stickers for children
• Coloring books for children
• Refreshments
The list could go on and on, but this will give you an idea of what you need for resources.
Step 1. Review your interventions from the previous assignment.
Review your objectives and interventions from the previous assignment. Think about what it would take to fully implement your intervention.
Step 2. Make a Resource List.
What do we need to complete your health program from start to finish? Make a resource list that a new staff member could use to complete your program. Use the outline below:
i. Introducton – This is simply one or two sentences that introduce the program. It is always good to name your program.
ii. Personnel Resources
iii. Curricula/Instructional resources
iv. Space, Equipment and Supplies
v. Financial resources
Step 3. Submit.
The Resource List must be limited to no more than 750 words (3 pages), exclusive of references. No specific sources are required for this assignment, but current AMA citation style must be followed if you do include them.
