Research Paper: Outline Assignment Instructions
Overview
This is the second part of the research paper. This is what we call the “meat” of the paper, as having a fully detailed, functioning, flowing outline is essential to writing a very coherent paper. It will give clear understanding, guidance and direction to the paper. Identifying each section and what will be discussed in that section is critical so that the paper has a purpose, main idea, discussion, recommendations and conclusions. It needs to be as detailed as possible.
Instructions
• Standard formatted outline, starting with Roman numerals for main headings, capital letters for secondary level, Arabic numerals for tertiary level and lower case letters for quaternary level.
• Bullet statements are to be used instead of paragraphs in the outline.
• Title page should be included with student name, ID, course/section, assignment title, University name and date.
• Format: AMA style
