Adobe InDesign

Professionals use InDesign instead of Photoshop and Illustrator form many reasons. It is a very important tool. A page layout plays a very crucial role in the process of finishing off a project. Using InDesign to make your page layout compared to Photoshop and Illustrator makes a big difference and has its advantages.

The purpose of a page layout is to communicate information in the clearest way possible to the reader, or audience. To make a page layout it takes the process of placing and arranging objects. The goal to a nice layout is for it to be eye catching. In order for you to have a nice eye catching layout you must make a strong composition to have the proper layout. Make sure that the layout goes along with whichever topic you are working with. The main focus of a page layout is to keep the attention of the customer and audience.

InDesign is a better choice for a page layout then Photoshop and Illustrator. All of the applications have layers but Photoshop and Illustrator layers are more complex than InDesign layers. Images are not deformed after being resized in InDesign as they may be in Photoshop. InDesign can be used for multiply page projects such as a book for instance. Between these applications InDesign has more of a free run when it comes to typography. InDesign gives you the option of placing your Photoshop and Illustrator files within your InDesign project. You are still able to edit these files. Once they are edited within their program the changes automatically happen inside of InDesign. This is because these files are not embedded into your InDesign file. InDesign is the better choice between all three applications.

It’s obvious by comparison that each application has one thing over the other. Overall InDesign is the top choice when it comes to printing out your document and/ or making something for the web. This application allows you to make a page layout that can integrate files from other applications into your InDesign file. You may even edit your Photoshop and Illustrator files and their edits change within the InDesign file. InDesign makes making a page layout simple and ready for the web or printing.
